Carling thermal circuit protectors utilize bimetallic strips in series with the circuit. Overload current heat generated by the bimetal deformation, the circuit breaker trip. A significant advantage of the Carling thermal protectors compared to fuses is that they can be reset after tripping. It can also be used as the main on / off switch for protected equipment. Carling offers 3-60 amp, illuminated and non-illuminated rocker drivers and push-button thermal circuit breakers that are UL, CUL, CE, UL1500 / ISO 8846 certified.
